What we do
Our inspection covers the subfloor, skirting, door frames, roof timbers and the ground around the foundation. We look for mud tubes, hollow-sounding wood and discarded wings, and we use a moisture meter where the timber feels soft. You receive a written report with photos. If termites are active, we recommend either an in-ground bait system or a targeted soil barrier.
What to expect on the day
The inspection itself takes two to three hours. We need to get into the subfloor or crawl space, so please make sure the hatch is reachable. The report arrives within two business days. If treatment is needed, we schedule it separately and explain each option and its cost before any work starts.
How to prepare
Move stored boxes away from external walls in the garage and under the stairs. Trim back plants and mulch so we can see the base of the walls. If you are buying or selling, tell us the settlement date so the report is ready in time. Keep any wings or damaged wood you have found in a sealed bag for us to look at.
